Colorado STEM Network is introducing a new patented technology tool that will streamline public discussion around STEM Education. The “STEM Sphere” is designed to facilitate constructive dialog and expand community knowledge about this very important topic.

We are inviting students, teachers, parents, local business people, local and state government employees and others to participate. It takes about 12 minutes and your results will be available instantly. Individual responses remain anonymous. Please complete this and share it with your friends and neighbors in Colorado so they can participate.

The STEM Sphere is not a poll, not a survey, or an assessment. The Sphere is a “reflection” device. It provides a mirror image of your views. It displays those views on a sphere chart. When the project is complete, you will see your views in context with that of an entire community.

Participants simply go online and complete the STEM education questions to gauge their view of each subject. This social media tool puts people on the same page. It saves time and resources. It ignites collaboration activities to improve outcomes for STEM education.

An exciting feature of the STEM Sphere is an "overlay" function that allows participants to share their answers with friends or fellow citizens. This 'partner compare' feature can be used from home, without attending a public gathering. It allows two people to compare their sphere charts online. It helps them identify and build upon their shared knowledge of STEM education or explore their diverse views.
